How Do You Perform Breast Lift Surgery?
Breast lift surgery usually takes 2 – 4 hours and is performed with the patient under general anesthesia. The length of time for your breast lift will depend on the level of sagging you're dealing with and your goals. The surgical technique used for cosmetic breast lift surgery generally falls under two categories — the technique is defined by the size, location, and nature of the incision. The inverted-T (known as an anchor) and the vertical incisions (lollipop) are the most commonly used types. After making the incision, Dr. Mehta will remove any excess skin, fat, and breast tissue.
