How Do You Perform Rhinoplasty?
Rhinoplasty is typically performed as an outpatient surgery with the patient being placed under general anesthesia. Depending on the current size and shape of your nose and your own goals, there are different surgical methods Dr. Mehta might use. The most common method is either an open or closed (endonasal) approach. The objective during the procedure is to decrease or entirely remove excess bone, cartilage, and tissue, or to improve and add cartilage if needed for reshaping.
